Our Story
BootCamp Spain was born from the vision of husband-and-wife team, Bill and Debbie, who combined their lifelong passions for fitness, nutrition, and helping others into a single purpose: creating a results-focused retreat that truly changes lives.
With over 25 years of experience between them — from training Olympic athletes and professional boxers to coaching complete beginners — they’ve crafted a program that blends expert-led training with personal care and attention. Debbie’s background as a professional chef and martial artist, paired with Bill’s credentials as a British Boxing Board-registered coach, ensures a uniquely well-rounded and supportive environment.
This isn’t a military-style boot camp — it’s a space to push yourself, reset your mindset, and rediscover your potential, all while surrounded by a small group of no more than 10 like-minded individuals.

Bill
Bill is the co-founder of BootCamp Spain and a professional boxing coach, registered with the British Boxing Board of Control. With over 25 years in the fitness industry, he’s trained athletes from all backgrounds — including Olympians, boxers, and footballers. Bill brings structure, motivation, and serious energy to every session. His no-nonsense style and expert programming push clients to achieve their personal best. Whether you're new to training or chasing a big goal, Bill’s experience and passion for transformation are key to your success at BootCamp Spain.

Debbie
Debbie co-founded BootCamp Spain with a mission to create real change through food and fitness. A trained chef with a background in London’s high-end restaurants, she designs every meal with purpose and flavour. Debbie also holds a black belt in martial arts and is a qualified boxing coach, offering clients a unique blend of strength and nutritional expertise. Her warm but focused approach creates an empowering space for guests to thrive — inside and out. From the kitchen to the training ground, Debbie’s influence is felt across the entire camp.

Ovie
Ovie is a seasoned fitness professional with over 25 years of experience in martial arts and rehabilitation. Starting as a competitive kickboxer, he’s earned a black belt in karate and developed a keen focus on recovery coaching. His sessions are upbeat, supportive, and designed to challenge both beginners and seasoned athletes. Known for his positivity and deep care for clients, Ovie helps guests push past their limits while keeping recovery front and centre. Whether you’re training hard or coming back from injury, Ovie ensures you're in safe, expert hands.

Antonio
Antonio is the heart and soul of BootCamp Spain’s high-energy spinning sessions. A professional cross-country cyclist who races most weekends — sometimes for the Spanish team — he brings elite-level passion to every class. With countless medals under his belt and infectious enthusiasm, Antonio makes even the toughest rides feel exhilarating. His spin classes are dynamic, sweaty, and full of motivation, keeping you engaged from the first pedal to the last. Whether you're a cycling pro or total beginner, Antonio’s sessions will leave you buzzing.

Paul
Paul is a master personal trainer with a passion for functional fitness and mindful movement. Specialising in kettlebell training, cardio circuits, and mobility work, his sessions are designed to challenge and restore in equal measure. Paul is also a dedicated yoga practitioner, leading popular weekly stretch classes that blend flexibility, strength, and mental focus. Known for his calm presence and technical knowledge, Paul helps clients move better, feel stronger, and recover smarter. His sessions are a firm favourite among bootcampers of all levels.

Jules
Jules is a talented massage therapist with a gift for helping clients unwind, recover, and reset. Specialising in relaxation massage, she creates a calming experience that complements the high-intensity training at camp. With an intuitive touch and a gentle, nurturing approach, Jules brings balance to each guest’s stay. Her sessions promote stress relief, muscle recovery, and overall well-being. As the wife of trainer Paul, Jules is an integral part of the BootCamp Spain family — supporting your fitness journey one soothing session at a time.

Pete
Pete is an experienced sports therapist with over 15 years working in deep tissue and recovery massage. Since moving to Spain five years ago, he’s built a loyal following at BootCamp Spain thanks to his precise, therapeutic techniques and no-nonsense approach to recovery. Whether you're dealing with tight muscles, past injuries, or just need to bounce back for the next session, Pete’s treatments are tailored to your body and goals. His focus on performance and prevention makes him a vital member of the team.

Rafa
Rafa is a passionate tennis coach who brings energy, innovation, and elite-level experience to the bootcamp. A former semi-professional player, he now dedicates his time to coaching children and adults alike — and even created a unique cardio tennis circuit for all levels. Every day, he travels to inspire kids in local schools, and his commitment to movement is evident in every session he leads. Whether you’ve played tennis before or not, Rafa’s workouts are fun, functional, and fantastic for building cardio fitness.

Jack
Jack began his BootCamp Spain journey as a guest with a goal to lose weight and change his lifestyle. Through hard work and dedication, he not only transformed his body but also his future — training to become a fitness instructor himself. Today, Jack plays a key role in supporting new guests, offering relatable advice, energy, and motivation from someone who’s walked the path. Francisco
Francisco is the camp’s long-time gardener and the man behind its fresh, organic produce. With over 40 years of experience growing vegetables and pressing olive oil, his contribution goes far beyond the soil. He also raises free-roaming chickens that supply eggs for the kitchen. His passion for sustainable living and deep connection to the land provide the foundation for BootCamp Spain’s farm-to-table approach. Every meal is better thanks to Francisco’s quiet expertise and dedication to quality.
Where You’ll Stay
At BootCamp Spain, your comfort is just as important as your training. Our fully residential camp is set on a private, gated estate in the beautiful Almería province of Andalucía. With three distinct accommodation areas to suit your preferences and budget, you’ll find the perfect place to rest, recover, and recharge after a day of focused activity.

Sports Centre
Our Sports Centre is perfect for guests who want close access to our indoor training facilities. It offers privacy, practicality, and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

En-Suite Rooms
Our en-suite rooms offer extra privacy and convenience—perfect for guests wanting their own bathroom facilities. Located in both the Main House and the Sports Centre, these private double rooms include an en-suite shower room and picturesque views. They are ideal for guests looking for a touch more comfort and direct access to training or social areas, depending on the building.

- Bathroom Setup: Private en-suite bathrooms attached to the bedrooms

Standard Rooms – Main House
Our Standard Rooms provide a cosy, sociable stay in the Main House — close to the kitchen, communal lounge, and dining areas.
You'll have the option of private double rooms with access to a shared bathroom, fostering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to unwind after a full day of training.

Budget Rooms – The Cottage
Our Budget Rooms are situated in the charming Cottage, perfect for guests seeking a more affordable option without compromising comfort.
You will find two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a mezzanine level featuring four single beds — ideal for solo travellers, friends, or those booking as part of our Budget Bootcamp program.
Simple, clean, and rustic — surrounded by fruit orchards and open countryside.

How to Get Here
BootCamp Spain is located in the tranquil mountains of the Almería province in southern Spain — a peaceful and private setting that’s just a transfer away from several major airports.
To keep the experience immersive and focused, our camp is fully residential. Once you arrive and check in, you’ll remain onsite for the duration of your stay.
Included Transfers
We offer free group transfers from selected airports as part of your booking.
These are available during set arrival and departure windows (times confirmed with your booking).
If you prefer to arrive outside of these windows, we can arrange a private taxi for you at the following additional cost:
- Almería Airport – €100
- Murcia Airport – €120
- Alicante Airport – €130
Once checked in, there is no in-and-out access during your stay — please plan ahead accordingly. Also, alcohol is not permitted on site.

Your booking includes:

Most of our accommodation options include en-suite rooms:
- The Sports Centre: 3 double en-suite rooms
- The Main House: 1 double en-suite + 2 rooms with shared bathroom
- The Cottage: 2 double rooms + shared bathroom, plus a mezzanine level for budget guests
All bathrooms are modern, clean, and shared only with a small number of guests where applicable.
Absolutely! Most of our guests attend solo. BootCamp Spain is a welcoming, community-focused environment where friendships are quickly formed — you’ll never feel alone.

We typically require a £100 deposit to secure your space, with the balance due before arrival. Full payment details are provided during the booking process.
BootCamp Spain is a fully residential experience. Once checked in, guests are expected to remain on-site until the camp ends — this ensures focus, safety, and the best results.
Each day includes a mix of workouts, mobility sessions, rest breaks, and nourishing meals. You’ll also enjoy recovery time, optional massages, and scenic hikes.

We provide group transfers from the following airports:
- Almería Airport – Closest and most convenient
- Murcia Airport – Slightly further
- Alicante Airport – Best for low-cost airline routes
Private taxi transfers are also available for an additional fee if arriving outside scheduled times.
Yes, we have strong Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property — and with two separate providers, outages are rare.
